Local Library to Host Imagination Library Playdate on Saturday

The George Coon Public Library will be hosting an Imagination Library Playdate this weekend.

According to Programming Coordinator Rebecca Poole, the library celebrates its anniversary of Imagination Library in May. Kathy Svoboda with Friends of the Library mentioned that they have been providing an Imagination Library in Caldwell County for approximately six years.

click to download audioShe explained that Imagination Library is offered at no cost to children and their families, and the community has been incredibly supportive in funding the program.

click to download audioThe Imagination Library Playdate is scheduled for this Saturday, and Poole expressed her excitement about partnering with the Caldwell Community Early Childhood Council and Ashley Board, the Family Consumer Sciences Agent from Caldwell County Cooperative Extension, for this year’s event.
