Charles Edwin Cranor, age 75, of Dawson Springs, KY passed away on Monday, May 6, 2024 at his home. Mr. Cranor was born on December 21, 1948 in Hopkinsville, KY to Louise Ausenbaugh Cranor and the late James Marvin Cranor. He retired from Island Creek Coal Company.
Survivors include his wife ~ Gayle Cranor of Dawson Springs, KY; a daughter ~ Crystal (Chris) Belton of Bowling Green, KY; two sons ~ Rev. Johnny (Libby) Cranor and Christopher (Christina) Cranor both of Bowling Green, KY; three brothers ~ Eugene Cranor and Stanley Cranor both of Dawson Springs, KY and Marvin Lee Cranor of Hopkinsville, KY; five grandchildren ~ Rev. Logan Cranor, Rachel Shyrock, Molly Austin, Noah Cranor and Gracie Belton; four great-grandchildren ~ Caroline Austin, Carrigan Austin, Beckett Cranor and Rhett Shyrock.
He was preceded in death by his father and two sisters-in-law ~ Tina and Barbara.
Visitation for Charles Edwin Cranor will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2024 from 11:00 AM until the 2:00 funeral hour at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY with Rev. David Bayer and Rev. James Maroney officiating. Burial will follow at Creekmur Cemetery in Caldwell County, KY.
