Bro. Wesley Curtis, paster at Green Grove Baptist Church and lover of gospel music, was in studio Tuesday to talk to WPKY about some upcoming gospel music concerts in the area.

Bro. Wesley told listeners that the first upcoming gospel concert will be with Jason Funderburk on Saturday, June 30th, at 6:30PM at Midway Baptist Church located at 1484 Highway 126 in Princeton.

The next concert will be with the Mark Trammell Quartet on Thursday, July 19th, at 6:30PM at Highland Baptist Church located at 306 Baker Street in Princeton. Bro. Wesley also mentioned that Mark will be inducted into Gospel Hall of Fame later this year.

A third concert will be with Bob Sellers, who was the previous lead singer with the Kingsman Quartet, on Sunday, August 5th at 11AM at Chapel Hill Baptist Church located at 9042 KY-70 in Princeton.

Bro. Wesley then said that for Homecoming at Green Grove Baptist Church on Sunday, August 12th at 1:30PM the Perrys will be in concert. Green Grove Baptist Church is located at 33 Green Road in Providence.

Bro. Wesley also mentioned that Gold City will be the performers for the Black Patch Gospel Singing this year on Saturday, September 8th at 7PM at First Baptist Church in Princeton.

The last currently scheduled gospel concert will be the Lowells Family at Green Grove Baptist Church on Saturday, September 16th at 5PM. Bro. Wesley mentioned that one of the singers will also preach at 6PM.
