The weather has cooled down, the days are shorter, and the leaves have started to change colors, falling everywhere, in yards, on sidewalks, clogging up drains and ditches, getting stuck under your windshield wipers. It seems never ending. This week’s peek at winter weather hasn’t helped any either.

But the change in seasons also means it’s time for Princeton’s Annual Leaf Pick-Up. The Princeton Public Works Department will begin picking up leaves on Monday, November 19th.

Public Works Director David Sullenger says that leaves should be placed curbside but not on the street, on the sidewalk, or in ditches and that leaves may be bagged or loose.

Pickup will begin at 7AM Monday, November 19th, and all leaves must be placed curbside by this time to assure pickup. Pickup will take an estimated two weeks, weather permitting.
