Smooth harmonies and fresh air, two things you can find this weekend at Jazz on the Lawn.

On Sunday from 3 to 5PM listen to the musical stylings of the Todd Hill Trio, which includes musicians Todd Hill, Scott Thile, and Dean Hughes, will fill the air around Adsmore House and Gardens in Princeton.

The event is free and open to all in the community and is sponsored by the Princeton Art Guild.

Adsmore will also be offering discounted prices for their “Black Patch Tobacco War” tours. Tours will be $5, those 12 and under are free. Tours will be every half hour beginning at 3PM, with the last tour at 5PM. Light refreshments will also be provided by Adsmore in the visitor’s center on site.

Attendees will also get a chance to view the Black Patch Heritage Collection, an 18 piece art collection owned by the Princeton Art Guild and painted by local artist, Al Curry.

Artists are encouraged to attend for Plein Air Painting or to “paint what you see.” Artists will have to bring their own paint supplies, including a drop cloth, easel, and canvas. The Princeton Art Guild will plan to exhibit, collaboratively, the artwork created from the day.

All in the community are being invited to bring their families, friends, and a blanket or lawn chairs, to Adsmore’s lawn for free jazz music, light refreshments, and art.
