Joe Gray, Secretary of the Princeton Kiwanis Club, was in studio Monday morning to talk to WPKY about the upcoming Kelly Miller Bros. Circus.

Joe told listeners that the Kelly Miller Bros. Circus will be coming into town on Monday, May 14th and will perform two shows, the first at 5PM, the second at 7:30PM, in the lot behind the old Quality Ford. The community is being invited to both shows as well as to watch the big top go up, which will start around 9AM on Monday morning.

Joe stated that the circus, which was founded in 1938, will feature several acts including high-wire acts, fire eaters, balancing acts, trapeze artists, contortionists, and more. Joe did note that the circus will not have as many animals as they’ve had in the past, but stated that it will still be a great show full of family friendly fun for all ages.

You can help out the Princeton Kiwanis Club and save money by purchasing advanced tickets, which are on sale now. Tickets are $10 for adults, $7 for children ages 2-12 and seniors age 65 and over. You can purchase advanced tickets here at WPKY, as well as at the Eddyville location of Farmers Bank and Trust, from any Kiwanis member, online at, or by going to Walmart on Saturday between 5 and 8PM – members of the Kiwanis Club will be set up outside selling tickets. You can also contact Joe at 270-963-2023 to get tickets. All tickets bought day of will be $13 for adults and $8 for children. The Kiwanis Club will receive a percentage of all advanced tickets sold and all the money raised will go towards their scholarships that they’ll award to graduating seniors on Class Night.
