Over 1,300 Princeton Electric Plant Board customers were without power for just over 30 minutes over night.

Just after 11:30PM a tractor-trailer got hung on a power cable, pulling a pole down, at the intersection of Masonic Drive and Hopkinsville Road.

PEPB Operations Superintendent Chris Burton said that crews were able to open some switches and reenergize the circuit, returning power to about 1,330 customers just after midnight Thursday morning. About 35 more customers were left in the dark for another hour as crews worked to fix the pole.

All power was fully returned around 1:18AM on Thursday.

No information has been released about the condition of the tractor-trailer driver or any possible injuries.
