Roy Gene Rogers was in studio Tuesday morning to talk to WPKY about the upcoming Political Forum for Caldwell County Judge Executive candidates.

Roy Gene told listeners that the Political Forum will be held on Saturday at 7:30PM at the Tourism Center in downtown Princeton. Judge Executive candidates will have three minutes to introduce themselves, they will then answer five questions and will have three minutes for closing statements or rebuttals. Roy Gene stated that each candidate has received four questions to prepare answers for, three of those questions are the same question among all the candidates, while one question will vary among the candidates. The fifth question will be asked for the first time during the forum.

Roy Gene also said that before the forum begins at 7:30PM they will ask all other candidates in attendance to stand and introduce themselves and state which office they are running for. There will also be tables available for candidates to leave campaign material for members of the public to pick up.

Roy Gene stated that the questions will cover many topics affecting the county including the issues with the animal shelter, the new US641 route, fiscal spending, county roads, and transparency in government, among other things.

The Political Forum for Caldwell County Judge Executive candidates will be held on Saturday, May 12th at 7:30PM at the Tourism Center in downtown Princeton.
