Scott Evans, from Adams Breezy Hill, was in studio Thursday morning for WPKY’s Business Spotlight.

Scott started off by talking about their upcoming Solarbration Friday through Monday, from 10:30AM to 8:30PM. Arts and Crafts vendors will be set up throughout the day and they will have live music Friday through Sunday night from 6:30 to 8:30PM. On Friday they’ll have Riding Shotgun, on Saturday they’ll have the Justin Reynolds Band, and on Sunday they’ll have Chris Rogers. All of the live music will be under the new gazebo. Vendors will include anything from clothes to furniture to makeup to more, as well as event T-shirts and eclipse glasses.

Scott then told listeners how Adams Breezy Hill started, stating that it began when his father-in-law, David Adams, wanted to build a small vegetable stand to sell things from this garden. David then asked his daughter, Christine, if she would like him to build a small restaurant that would only serve lunch. She agreed and so he built a small 36 by 36 foot building in August of 2011. After a few years of doing well they decided to expand and stayed open for dinner Thursday through Saturday evenings. Scott joined the Adams Breezy Hill team in January of 2015 and by the summer of 2016 they were talking about adding another addition. They broke ground in May and June of 2017 and renovations are almost complete. The addition will include a bakery, that will serve homemade desserts, ice cream, and coffee, as well as a gift shop and an inside waiting area.

Scott then told listeners of several of their signature menu items, including burgers, pork tenderloin sandwiches, homemade pimento cheese, tuna salad, and chicken salad, fresh salads, 16oz ribeye steak, chicken, and of course endless brick oven pizza. Scott also reminded listeners that sweet tea is always free when you buy a meal.

Scott then told listeners that currently they have 90 reservations for lunch on Monday and suggested calling them at 270-365-1234 to make your reservation now.
