The Caldwell County Board of Education unanimously approved to keep last year’s tax rates at a special called meeting Monday night.

The Board voted to keep the 2018-2019 tax rates at 44.6 cents per hundred dollar assessed value for real estate and personal property. They also voted to keep motor vehicle taxes at 53.8 percent and utilities taxes at 3 percent.

The Board also voted to continue to participate in the School Facilities Construction Commission and the Facilities Support Program of Kentucky.
