Tracie Turner, Democratic Candidate for Caldwell County Judge Executive, was in studio Thursday morning to introduce herself to the community and talk to WPKY about her campaign.

Tracie told listeners that she grew up in a small community in Virginia then moved to Southern Florida before settling here in Caldwell County about ten years ago. She stated that she has an extensive medical background, both in veterinary and human fields, as well as in financial management. Currently she serves as the head technician at Roger’s Veterinary Clinic in Princeton.

Tracie said that if she is elected as Judge Executive she will work to fix the issues at the animal shelter, both administrative and otherwise, and she will push for more interest from citizens to get involved in community issues and needs to help share the resources here in our area. Tracie then said that she supports local law enforcement, local businesses, and wants to keep money here in the community. She also mentioned that she has heard from several citizens that the community is wanting an outdoor recreation area for families to ride bikes, walk their dogs, play with their children, have birthday parties and events, and more, and that she would work to see that process started.
