Funeral services for William “Bill” Saxon, age 77, of Big Sandy, TN and formerly of Kuttawa will be held Wednesday morning at eleven at Lakeland Funeral Home in Eddyville. Burial will follow in the Kuttawa Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from four until eight at the funeral home.
He was a retired police officer with the state of Kentucky, a U.S. Army veteran and a member of Suwanee Furnace Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife: Linda Saxon of Big Sandy, TN; two daughters: Susan Jill Spencer and husband, Mike, of Tatumville, KY and Stephanie Peavy of Parrot, VA; two sons: William Scott Saxon and wife, Monica, of Lyon County and Frank Peavy IV of Shreveport, LA; one sister: Brenda Jarvis of Rogers, AR; one brother: Kent Saxon of Boise, ID, as well as six grandchildren.
