Princeton Man Arrested on Various Drug Charges Thursday Afternoon

A Princeton man has been arrested on various drug related charges following an attempt to serve a warrant.
Caldwell County Sheriff Stan Hudson says that a deputy observed a red pick up parked in the Butler parking lot in Princeton just after 1:30 Thursday afternoon. Sheriff Hudson adds that the deputy recognized the vehicle’s occupant, 23-year-old Colin Brasher, who was known to have an active warrant for his arrest.
Sheriff Hudson reports that the deputy made contact with Brasher, advised him of the warrant, and placed him under arrest. While searching Brasher Acetaminophen Oxycodone medication, which is a schedule II controlled substance, was allegedly discovered in Brasher’s pocket.
During a search of the vehicle the deputy located a suspected methamphetamine pipe, a suspected glass marijuana bong, a plastic bag with suspected methamphetamine residue, a plastic container with suspected methamphetamine residue, and four glass jars containing suspected methamphetamine residue.
Sheriff Hudson stays that Brasher allegedly stated the vehicle and the pants he was wearing were not his.
Brasher was then served a Lyon County warrant and was additionally charged with possession of a controlled substance second degree, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled
substance first degree, first offense, methamphetamine.
He was then lodged in the Caldwell County Jail.
