A section of a state highway in Caldwell County will be closed for about a day for minor road work.
Officials with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet say they plan to close a section of KY 278/Sandlick Road on Tuesday to allow a cross drain to be replaced. The closure will be at mile point 4.2, which is between KY 1603/Scottsberg Road and Claxton Road.
KYTC officials add that the roadway will close at approximately eight Tuesday morning and is expected to reopen to traffic around three Tuesday afternoon.
There will be no marked detour.
