Cadiz Man Arrested on DUI in Princeton

A Cadiz man is facing DUI charges following a one-vehicle accident in Princeton Wednesday night.
According to a Princeton Police report officers responded to a complaint of a vehicle off the roadway in a ditch on East Young Street right before seven. The report indicates that officers located the vehicle and detected an odor of alcoholic beverages when they approached.
The driver, 67-year-old David Johnson, then allegedly failed field sobriety tests and was taken into custody.
Johnson was arrested and charged with his first DUI offense.
He was then lodged in the Caldwell County Jail.
