Name of Woman Injured in Monday Crash Released

More information has been released concerning a two-vehicle accident that held up traffic in downtown Princeton Monday morning.
According to a Princeton Police report officers responded to a two-vehicle injury collision on West Main Street in front of Brantley Furniture just before ten. The report states that investigation revealed 81-year-old Shirley A. Crowell, of Princeton, was eastbound on West Main Street when she failed to see a delivery truck stopped in the roadway. Crowell’s vehicle then struck the delivery truck, causing damage to both vehicles.
Crowell was transported to Caldwell Medical Center by Caldwell County EMS for treatment of minor injuries.
The Princeton Police Department was assisted at the scene by the Princeton Fire Department and Caldwell County EMS. West Main Street was closed to traffic for just under 30 minutes and crews worked to clear the scene.
