The National Weather Service in Paducah has issued a Flash Flood Warning in effect for most of western Kentucky until 10:00 this evening. This includes the counties of Caldwell, Christian, Lyon, Todd, and Trigg.
Meteorologists indicate up to one inch of rain has fallen today with many areas already having received one to two inches of rain since Monday.
Due to the heavy rainfall, flash flooding is expected to occur and will impact small creeks, streams, urban areas, highways, streets, and underpasses as well as other drainage and low lying areas.
Again, a flash flood warning is in effect for most of western Kentucky until 10:00 this evening, including the counties of Caldwell, Christian, Lyon, Todd, and Trigg.
