Caldwell County Schools will be closed until mid-April amid growing concerns of the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) in western Kentucky.
Superintendent Nate Huggins says that schools will be closed to students through Friday, April 17th. He adds that Non-Traditional Instruction (NTI) will continue until the district’s originally scheduled Spring Break, April 6th through 10th, and will pick back up the following week.
Huggins notes that school meals will continue to be delivered according to the currently designated schedule every week of the closure, minus Spring Break. He does state that they are looking into potentially providing meals during Spring Break but no plans have been made as of yet.
