Funeral services for Katherine Cummins Brown, age 94, of Princeton, will be held Monday at noon at Morgan’s Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Eddy Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Caldwell County.
Visitation will be held Monday morning from ten until service time at the funeral home.
Katherine was a member of Eddy Creek Baptist Church where she had played the piano, was a music director and a Sunday school teacher in the children’s department. She was the American Red Cross “cookie lady” for 25 years and was known for her sense of humor. Katherine was a lifetime homemaker and farmer who continued to raise cattle and take care of their property, well into her 80s, even after her late husband, Buddy, passed away. Katherine was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by two daughters: Patricia Fralick and husband, William, of Princeton and Nancy Sledge and husband, Wayne, of Princeton; one granddaughter: Amy Fralick Colon and husband, Kevin; and four great-grandchildren
