Some Atmos Energy Customers Without Gas Services Following Leak

A few Atmos Energy customers were without gas services at their house following a slight break in a gas line Thursday morning.
Princeton Public Works Director David Sullenger says around eleven his crews were working on installing a cross drain in the 100 block of Apache Drive when they grazed a nearby gas line. He adds crews with Atmos Energy were able to quickly find and cap off the leak but will be not be able to fully repair the line until Public Works finish installing the cross drain.
Sullenger notes there are a few customers currently without gas services but service should return by the end of the day.
The Princeton Water & Wastewater Department are also working in the area repairing a sewer line and plans are to repave the entire street once work is completed.
