Caldwell County Officials Outline Three Options to Vote in General Election

Caldwell County officials have released more information on how citizens can let their voice be heard in the General Election this year amid the coronavirus pandemic.
At a Caldwell County Fiscal Court meeting Tuesday Clerk Toni Watson stated voting in November will be similar to how citizens voted during the Primary Election in June, which included three separate ways to vote, by absentee ballot, early voting, and voting at the courthouse on Election Day.

She added three county precincts will also be open for voting on Election Day.

Watson noted deadlines to register to vote or to request an absentee ballot are fast approaching.

Early voting poll stations will be set up in the basement, which is handicap accessible, and on the first floor of the Caldwell County Courthouse during designated times and absentee ballot dropboxes will also be available on both floors for those who do not wish to return their ballot by mail. Citizens can apply for an absentee ballot by clicking here.
