One Injured in Three-Vehicle Accident Thursday Evening

One person was injured in a three-vehicle accident in Princeton Thursday evening.
Assistant Princeton Police Chief Shane Allison states around 5:15 officers responded to a three-vehicle collision with possible injuries on Marion Road near the Interstate 69 off ramp. He adds preliminary investigation revealed 67-year-old Earl W. Milan, of Princeton, was traveling northbound on Marion Road when he came upon traffic stopped in the roadway. Milan was unable to stop in time and struck the rear of a vehicle driven by 57-year-old Pamela A. Tinsley, of Marion, who in turn hit the rear of a vehicle driven by 44-year-old Philip Eicher, of Fredonia.
Tinsley was transported to the Caldwell Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries and while the airbags did deploy in Milan’s vehicle, Assistant Chief Allison notes Milan was not injured and refused treatment. Eicher was also not injured in the accident.
The roadway in this area was blocked for just over thirty minutes as crews worked to clear the scene.
The Princeton Police Department was assisted at the scene by Princeton Fire and Rescue, Caldwell County EMS, Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office, and Trice Hughes Towing Service.
