The Pennyrile District Health Department is announcing four new coronavirus cases and released updated active case numbers throughout the five county district Friday.
According to the health department Trigg County announced two new cases, that of an 81-year-old male and a 54-year-old female who are both isolate at home and bring the county’s overall case number to 172. Currently Trigg County has 25 active cases, 22 who are recovering in their own homes and three who are hospitalized. Trigg’s remaining 147 cases have recovered.
Crittenden County announced no new cases Friday and currently has 10 active cases, nine who are isolated at home and one who is hospitalized. Crittenden County has reported three virus related deaths since the pandemic began but the county’s remaining 112 cases have recovered.
There are currently ten active cases in Lyon County, all of which are isolated at home, and five deaths have been reported within the county since mid-March. The county’s remaining 60 cases having recovered. No new cases were confirmed Friday.
While Livingston County did not report any new cases the county does have seven active cases, five of which are isolated at home, with two hospitalized. Livingston County has confirmed one death related to the virus and reports its remaining 76 cases have recovered.
