It’s Black Friday and officials with the Lake Barkley Chamber of Commerce encourage everyone to Shop Local to support small businesses around the area.
This year it’s more important than ever to shop local during the holidays to support small businesses and restaurants affected by the state’s restrictions due to surging COVID-19 cases across the area and commonwealth.
Lake Barkley Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Deb Domke says four new businesses have opened in Eddyville in the last couple of weeks.
She adds small businesses are the key to growing the community.
