
Some exciting new projects are planned to make improvements at the Princeton-Caldwell County Airport.
Councilman Jim Joiner, a member of the airport board, tells the News Edge grant funding has been approved to purchase land for obstruction removal.

Joiner says the grant funding will also be used for a new hangar complex which will cost approximately $800,000.

click to download audioIn addition, Joiner says the airport will undergo some resurfacing after the new hangars are in place.

According to Joiner, a local aviation mechanic is offering his services to the Princeton aviation community. He says Bradley Herron, an aviation mechanic who lives in Princeton and works for AirEvac in Marion, was recently introduced to the Airport Board.
