Caldwell Emergency Manager Says County Faring Well After Ice Storm

While roads are slick and hazardous in Caldwell County, officials say the county is faring well with no major problems reported Thursday.
As of mid-morning, Caldwell County Emergency Manager Joey McCaslin tells the News Edge city and county road departments are out working on the ice and snow-covered roads.

According to McCaslin, emergency personnel has responded to a couple of wrecks Thursday afternoon with heavy damage to the vehicles, but no one was injured.
McCaslin says Caldwell County has been really lucky so far and he hopes it stays that way.
