Police Serve Caldwell Inmates With Indictment Warrants

Princeton Police served four inmates at the Caldwell County Jail with Indictment Warrants Wednesday morning on charges ranging from arson and sexual abuse to drug trafficking and wanton endangerment.
According to Assistant Princeton Police Chief Shane Allison, 60-year old Dennis Cummings, of Princeton was served an indictment warrant charging him with first-degree arson, resisting arrest, fourth-degree assault – domestic violence, violation of an emergency protection order, and persistent felony offender.
59-year old Leslie Emry, of Hopkinsville, was served a warrant charging him with first-degree fleeing or evading police, first-degree wanton endangerment of a police officer, reckless driving, and his second offense of first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance – methamphetamine.
The warrant served on 67-year old Jay Paris, of Princeton, charged him with first-degree sodomy, first-degree attempted sodomy, and first-degree sexual abuse victim under 12-years of age.
And the warrant served on 56-year old Jimmie Hayes, of Fredonia, charged him with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance – methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.
