As Spring brings about thoughts of cleanup and growth, Princeton’s City-County Park is receiving attention in the form of upgrades.
City-County Park Director Steve Kukahiko says they were given the green light, and the work to get the park ready for the season has already begun.
He says one of the most noticeable upgrades has needed attention for quite a while.
The free facility will be available to whoever needs it. While gaining access to the new batting cages will be just a phone call away, the lights will turn on themselves.
As the temps get warmer and summer grows closer, one of the most popular questions on everyone’s minds in regards to the City-County Park has been “will it” or “won’t it”, as the question of “will the pool be open this year”, is answered.
Kukahiko says they are always looking for volunteers.
As the park is reopened and upgrades are enjoyed, Park officials would like to remind us to take the time to clean up after ourselves before we leave.
Princeton’s City-County Park is located just off Dawson Road at 200 Baker Hill Road. For more information, call (270) 365-7811 or visit the Princeton City County Park, Facebook Page.
