A traffic stop on a reckless driver led to gun charges for a Bowling Green man in Caldwell County Tuesday morning.
Caldwell County Sheriff’s deputies say 42-year-old Dustin Cooper was stopped on Kentucky 293 after a report of a reckless driver coming out of Princeton.
During the stop, he was reportedly found to have a gun and active warrants in Lyon County for theft by unlawful taking.
Cooper was charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, reckless driving, first-degree wanton endangerment of a police officer, and failure to maintain required insurance.
