Motorists who travel KY 109 between Dawson Springs and Rabbit Ridge may want to seek an alternate route due to milling and paving work that is expected to continue through next Friday.
Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 2 spokeswoman Kiersten Jaggers says milling and paving operations began Monday and will continue through the end of next week.
Motorists should be aware of the work zone, expect delays, and utilize safe driving habits when traveling through the area.
Jaggers says work is expected to be completed in approximately two weeks unless there is inclement weather or unforeseeable delays.
Drivers are encouraged to allow extra time in reaching their destination.
