Area residents will soon have the opportunity to experience “The Spirit of Kentucky” and help local non-profit organizations.
Lake Barkley Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Deb Domke says it all started after a chance meeting with Coach Gregg Vincent, with the American Legion Post 68 Baseball, and the idea grew from there.
Domke explained after pairing up with some of our area’s bourbon experts.
She says the tasting event will include 7 varieties, however, Bourbon isn’t the only excitement for the evening, rather just the beginning.
Domke says the Spirit of Kentucky is a kick-off to the main fundraising event.
The auction website is already up and showing previews of actual items complete with timers showing when the auction officially begins and bidding will end.
To attend the Spirit of Kentucky event, Domke says tickets can be purchased in a few different places.
