Princeton Police Department Hires New Officer

The Princeton Police Department has hired a new officer.
Chief Chris King tells the News Edge Garrick Lamb, of Princeton, will be joining the police department on July 12th. He says Lamb does not have any prior law enforcement experience and he will be entering the Kentucky Department of Criminal Justice Training Academy in Richmond for training on August 22nd. Chief King says Lamb will graduate from the Training Academy on February 3, 2022.
According to Chief King, the Princeton Police Department currently has eleven full-time officers and two school resource officers. He says the department is still looking to fill three officer positions.
