Voting Begins Monday For Library’s Chalk Art Contest

The George Coon Public Library has come up with a unique, fun way to incorporate local businesses and the community into the Summer Reading Program — a chalk art contest.
Rebecca Pool, who coordinates the program, tells the News Edge they came up with the idea for a Chalk About Summer business chalk art contest with the Summer Reading Program theme “Tails and Tales”.

Now it’s time for the community to vote for their favorite. She says beginning Monday there are two ways you can vote — by coming to the George Coon Public Library or you can go to the library’s Facebook page.
