Caldwell 4-H’ers Bring Home Winning Ribbons For State Fair Exhibits

Caldwell County 4-H’ers at Kentucky State Fair

Several Caldwell County 4-H’ers brought home first, second, and third-place ribbons for their exhibits at the Kentucky State Fair in Louisville.
Knolin Lewis received two blue ribbons, one in the Trends category and one in the Photography category, Wyatt Dickerson also received two blue ribbons— one in Horticulture category and one Wood Science category, Olivia Peek brought home a blue ribbon in the Arts & Crafts category, while Rylie Bruce received a blue ribbon in the Photography category.
Olivia Peek was awarded a red ribbon in the Trends category and Arts & Crafts category, Morgan Witherspoon and Laney McConnell each received two red ribbons in the Photography category, Knolin Lewis received a red ribbon in the Forestry category, and Kaitlyn Amaya, Rylie Bruck and Emma Koscho each also received a red ribbon in the Photography category.
And Knolin Lewis, Emma Koscho, Callie Woodward, and Morgan Witherspoon each received a white ribbon in Photography.
Caldwell County kids had a great showing at the 2021 Kentucky State Fair. As reported by the News Edge last week, several 4-H’ers in Caldwell brought home awards for their country hams and market hogs.
The Caldwell County 4-H Program offers opportunities for youth ages 9-19 an opportunity to learn new things, make friends, and have lots of fun. Anyone interested in joining should contact Rhonda Jewell at the Caldwell County Extension Office.
