The Lake Barkley Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon-cutting during the official grand opening of Katie’s Cabin Kitchen in Kuttawa Wednesday.
Chamber Executive Director Deb Domke says Katie Hazelwood, owner of the restaurant, along with her husband Mickey Kinnis and family, officially cut the ribbon on their new restaurant, located inside the Cabin Bait & Tackle.
According to Domke, Kuttawa Mayor Barbara Campbell along with other city officials, chamber ambassadors, and members of the business community, gathered Wednesday to enjoy a tasty sampling of Katie’s homemade desserts, truffles and more. Domke says Hazelwood shared that the restaurant offers an appetizing breakfast and lunch selection and includes an elevated homemade dessert selection.
Domke says they are thrilled to welcome Katie’s Cabin Kitchen to their business community and an added choice when dining in the area.
As previously reported by the News Edge, Katie’s Cabin Kitchen is open 5 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday through Monday and you may call orders in at (270) 388-6440. Breakfast is served until 10:30 a.m. and throughout the day on Sunday.
