Two more candidates and two incumbents have filed their paperwork to run in the 2022 Election in Caldwell County.
According to the Caldwell County Clerk’s Office, Joe Don Doom filed to run for jailer on the Republican ticket Friday.
Jennifer Choate filed Friday for District 3 magistrate joining Republican incumbent Brent Stallins who filed last week seeking his third term.
In addition, Republican incumbent Roy Massey IV also filed Friday seeking reelection as county attorney.
On Monday, the Caldwell County Clerk’s Office reports Republican incumbent Elbert Bennett officially filed seeking his 6th term as District 1 magistrate.
The deadline to file for partisan seats is 4:00 p.m. on January 7, 2022.
Kentucky’s Primary Election is May 17, 2022, and the state’s General Election is November 8, 2022.
