
A search warrant served at an apartment led to the arrest of two Providence residents on drug charges.
According to Providence police, Officer Eric Elder obtained a search warrant for an apartment Wednesday at 714 North Broadway, the residence of 39-year old Michael Stone and 47-year old Shawna Beach. Inside the residence, officers reportedly located a loaded firearm, a variety of drug paraphernalia, marijuana, and a large assortment of pills that were not prescribed to the residents.

Stone and Beach were taken into custody and charged with possession of marijuana – firearm enhanced, possession of drug paraphernalia, illegal possession of a legend drug, third-degree possession of a controlled substance, and prescription controlled substance not in a proper container.
Both Stone and Beach were lodged in the Webster County Jail.
Officer Elder was assisted by Providence Police Chief Todd Jones and Sergeant Carl Scheer.
