Lyon County Farm Bureau was recognized and honored last week as one of Kentucky Farm Bureau’s “Top Counties” in 2021 for its outstanding programming and for having a positive impact on both the community and its membership.
According to Communications Director B. Todd Bright with Kentucky Farm Bureau, Lyon County received the award during the agency’s 102nd annual meeting. The “Top County” announcements were recognized during the General Session Friday evening. Bright says Lyon County, which has 1,259 members and a variety of successful service programs, was honored as the most outstanding in its membership category.
Other top counties recognized by Membership Category include:
– Category Two: Bourbon County
– Category Three: Bath County
– Category Four: Clark County
– Category Five: Pulaski County
Bright says this was another successful year for county Farm Bureaus. In addition to the the five Top Counties recognized this year, 108 counties qualified as Growth Incentive Winners for policy growth and profitability produced by their local Farm Bureau agencies.
