Princeton Mayor Pleased With Cleanup Progress

Gusty winds will cause recovery efforts to revamp Wednesday in Caldwell County as roofs will need to be tarped to prevent further damage.
With wind gusts expected up to 35 mph Wednesday, Princeton Fire Chief Brent Francis has issued a no-burn order until 6:00 Thursday morning. Additionally, up to 3 inches of rain is possible over the next couple of days.
Meanwhile, Mayor Kota Young says he is astonished at the progress that has been made so far.

He says the burn piles have been going non-stop since Monday night and are going well. He says the burn pile approved Tuesday in Deerfield was being built Wednesday morning.
Mayor Young also says traffic moving in and out of some of the neighborhoods should expect some changes due to heavy equipment helping to move the debris to burn piles.

Mayor Young also reminds everyone cleaning up debris in these neighborhoods about the four segregated burn piles.

Mayor Young will provide a live update at 5:00 p.m. Wednesday.
