A former magistrate and longtime resident of Caldwell County filed to run for the judge-executive seat at the County Clerk’s Office Monday morning. Phillip Sisk filed to run on the Democratic ticket and is the only candidate to file for the seat at this time
Sisk, a Caldwell County native, tells the News Edge he’s running for the judge-executive seat because he has served the community in some capacity for many years and he wants to continue to serve the county.
Sisk says he has also built relationships in Frankfort over the past few years.
Sisk says he also cares about Caldwell County and wants to help the county grow economically.
Sisk has been married for nearly 52-years to Janice Celeste Workman Sisk. He has two adult children, Christy Reynolds and Phillip Sisk, Jr., and four grandchildren.
Lloyd Murdock, chairman of the Princeton-Caldwell County Airport Board, and Shirley Landreth of Fredonia signed as witnesses when Sisk filed his paperwork at the County Clerk’s Office.
