Christ in Action is offering volunteers and other assistance to those who are trying to recover from the December 10 tornado.
Chris Zitzmann with Christ in Action based in Virginia says they are excited to be working alongside other churches and individuals to help physically on people’s properties and bring hope to America’s families who are suffering so much right now.
He says they are offering free services to help local and area homeowners with their clean-up efforts.
If you need help, he says they are set up at Christ Tabernacle on U.S. 62 or there are other ways you can contact them.
According to Zitzmann, volunteers can go to their website to sign up.
He adds they would love for people to volunteer so that they can collectively bring hope.
Zitzmann also says one of the biggest challenges in a disaster is getting information out into the hands of those who need it. He says they have partnered with Christ Tabernacle and are planning a survivor resource meeting next Thursday evening.
Zitzmann says Christ in Action will be in the area providing assistance through at least the end of February.
