The Eddyville Police Department recently received the Kentucky League of Cities Insurance Services 100% Score 2021 Safety and Liability Review Award.
Officials posted on social media this is the first time the Eddyville Police Department has received this award since being established in 1998. They said the award is in recognition of outstanding efforts in the areas of safety, training, and proactively addressing risk and liability reduction.
According to officials, Eddyville Police Chief Jaime Green has worked hard to see that the department received a perfect score. They also noted there are approximately 20 other law enforcement agencies across the state who also scored 100%.
