Ashley Board Returns To George Coon With In Person Programs


George Coon Public Library announced the return of a popular partnership with Caldwell County Extension Office.
George Coon Public Library’s Director Nichelle Faughn and Rebecca Poole were excited to announce, Caldwell County Extension Office, Family and Consumer Science Agent, Ashley Board will return to lead popular in-person programs in 2022 at the library.
Coming soon to kick off the month of February…”Stories, Songs and Stretches”.

Recipes straight from the pages of the Caldwell Extension Office’s annual 2022 Nutrition Education Program Calendar will be on display as Board is set to offer instructions and even taste testing in person at the library on February 28th from 10-noon.


click to download audioThe return of in-person programs are, of course, in addition to incentives already in full swing at George Coon. The “Winter Reading Challenge” has incentives for adults and children, with prizes and even themed mugs and hot chocolate.
