Princeton Public Works Busy Clearing Downed Trees Due To Ice Storm


Princeton Public Work crews have been busy around the city Thursday morning trying to clear downed trees due to the ice storm moving across the area.
Public Works Director David Sullenger says road conditions within the city are in pretty good shape right now, but the main issue right now is clearing downed trees.


click to download audioHe says they plan to start salting streets when the rain lets up or when the roads start getting slick.


click to download audioSullenger is asking everyone to stay inside their home due to the dangerous conditions.


click to download audioConditions will continue to deteriorate throughout the afternoon and evening hours as an Ice Storm Warning remains in effect for the area until 6:00 Friday morning.
