Officials with the Princeton Electric Plant Board have announced they are closely monitoring the winter weather that has been forecasted for their service area.
Officials said in a post on social media that crews are currently prepared for potential inclement weather, and will be on standby to assist as needed.
If a large power outage occurs, officials remind customers that the Princeton Electric Plant Board does use social media to communicate current situations, but they do not monitor Facebook for outage reporting. Customers are encouraged to call their office at (270) 365-2031 to report an outage instead of using social media.
Officials at the Princeton Electric Plant Board also encourage residents to stay at home the rest of the week and not come into the office to make payments. Customers are directed to instead pay
online at pepb.net or through their automated phone payment system at no additional cost (270-365-2031 and press 1).
