Two Princeton residents were charged with possessing meth and being convicted felons in possession of firearms Wednesday afternoon.
Caldwell County Chief Deputy Sheriff Chris Noel reports 24-year old Kursten Myers was arrested after Deputies Brook Dixon and Steve Ladd responded to assist probation and parole for a home visit around 1:15 Wednesday afternoon and found a firearm, a plastic baggie with suspected meth and drug paraphernalia.
Chief Deputy Noel says 27-year old Joseph Pierce was taken into custody on warrants out of Caldwell and Lyon counties.
The investigation led to Myers and Pierce both being charged with felony possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), and possession of drug paraphernalia. Both subjects were lodged in the Caldwell County Jail.
