A Lola man was charged with driving under the influence and assaulting a police officer after a single-vehicle wreck in Livingston County Saturday morning.
The Livingston County Sheriff’s Department reports 22-year old Jeffery Tramble was taken into custody around 10:20 a.m. after being involved in a wreck with injuries on Lola Road between Salem and Lola.
According to the report, when Tramble was being arrested for DUI, he attempted to fight Deputy Michael Williams, which resulted in Tramble being tased and taken into custody. Once in custody, Tramble reportedly attempted to spit on and headbutt deputies.
Tramble was charged with DUI, third-degree assault of a police officer, and resisting arrest.
