A 35-year old woman was injured in a single-vehicle wreck in Livingston County over the weekend after deputies say her vehicle ran off the road and struck some trees and a fence.
Livingston County Sheriff’s Deputy Jared Rivera reports Kelly Schaibly was driving westbound on U.S. 60 around 11:30 Saturday night when the vehicle’s tires dropped off the shoulder of the roadway in a curve, causing her to lose control. Deputy Rivera said the vehicle traveled off the roadway and struck several trees, traveled down a hill and hit a fence.
According to the deputy, Schaibley was transported to the hospital for treatment of injuries.
The sheriff’s department reports the roadway was restricted to one lane for about an hour due to the wreck.
Livingston County EMS, Salem Fire Department and Spencers Towing assisted the Livingston County Sheriff’s Department on the scene.
