The first graders at Caldwell County Public Schools need the community’s help for a fun and exciting project to make time capsules that will be opened their senior year.
Community Engagement Coordinator Lizzie Shelton tells WPKY News Edge first graders will be making time capsules by using empty cans of a popular potato chip next Tuesday, which will be opened on March 3, 2033.

click to download audioAccording to Shelton, the donations can be dropped off at Caldwell County Primary School or the Caldwell County Board of Education.
click to download audioIdeally, Shelton says they would like to have all of the donations by Friday so they will have a couple of days to evaluate what they still need for the activity on Tuesday, February 22.
