Pennyrile District Health Department announced Monday that 173 new positive coronavirus cases were reported around its five-county district last week from Tuesday to Thursday.
Thirty of those new positive cases were reported in Caldwell County. All of the cases are recovering at home and include 19 females and 11 males ranging in age from 1 to 94-years old. Five of these cases are 18 and under.
Elsewhere around the district, 13 new COVID-19 cases were reported in Crittenden County, along with 31 new cases in Livingston County, 71 new cases in Lyon County, and 28 new cases in Trigg County.
